Police chase: truck thief nabbed after dramatic chase in Australia - TomoNews

Australian police officers arrested a man in a stolen truck after chasing him through the suburbs of Adelaide. An off-duty officer spotted the stolen truck, and alerted patrols in the area.
The patrol officers deployed road spikes and the driver ran over them, but managed to keep going and eventually hit two vehicles, including a police car. There were no reports of major injuries to anyone involved.
According to police, following the driver's arrest he was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries but has been released. He is currently in police custody and and investigation is underway.
