Road Avenger review!! Classic Game Room reviews ROAD AVENGER for Sega CD (Mega CD) from Data East, Wolfteam and Renovation. Road Avenger (also known as Road Blaster) was originally a 1985 arcade game where you respond to on screen prompts and drive a car through an amazing anime chase scene. The Sega CD version is similar, though probably with a lower frame rate and muffled audio. FMV video and quicktime events may not be a terribly exciting video game genre, but the anime action and attitude of Road Avenger makes it a WINNER. It's a glorified game of Memory, but it's an amazing glorified game of Memory.
