Russian Fighter Jets Hit Islamic State Command Center

Russian air forces conducted airstrikes on several bases under the control of the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), including a command center and a training camp in Hama province, after taking off from Latakia air base, Thursday. According to Russian Air Force Colonel Igor Klimov, over the past day all the tasks assigned to the Russian aviation group aimed at targeting the Islamic State were fully implemented.
