Ladies finger or orka (bhindi) is a staple in Indian cuisine and a much loved vegetable in our home. No doubt given an option, bhindi fry is the most favorite and loved bhindi recipe by all. Watch and learn this popular bhindi recipe with Chef Varun only on Rajshri Food.

Ingredients:

250 grams lady finger ( cut into roundels)
3 tbsp oil
1/2 cup onion, sliced thinly
1/4 cup tomatoes, sliced thinly
3 green chilies, slit
½ inch ginger cut into julliennes
6 garlic pods crushed
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp chat masala
Few sprigs of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt as required

Method:

- Heat oil in a pan and add green chillies, onions, ginger and garlic. Mix everything well.
- Add bhindi in to this mixture and give it few tosses.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chat masala.
- Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add sliced tomatoes and give it a toss.
- Add lemon juice once the flame is off.
- Bhindi Fry is ready to be served!
