Officials: Florida airport shooter says attacks were for ISIS

Esteban Santiago, who was charged for killing five people at Fort Lauderdale airport, said he carried out the attacks for ISIS, according to the FBI. FBI special agent Michael Ferlazzo didn't clarify whether Santiago was inspired by the terror group or linked to them. Before the attack, authorities said Santiago was hearing voices in his head and voiced concered that he was being controlled by the CIA. Following the shooting, Santiago reiterated the same story but later brought up ISIS when interrogated by the FBI. If convicted, Santiago could receive the death penalty. His next court appearance is January 30.
