Susan Bro recently told the Daily Beast that she's getting closer to blaming President Trump for the death of her daughter, Heather Heyer.
Heyer was among the counterprotesters at the far-right rally held in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 12 and was killed when a driver plowed his car into a crowd of people, notes the Washington Post.
A reporter for the Daily Beast recently spoke with Bro at length and asked her if she holds President Trump responsible for Heyer's death.
"I'm starting to come to that conclusion because he definitely pushes forward a hateful agenda," she responded.
Not long after August 12 violence between the counterprotesters and the white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the like erupted, President Trump asserted there were, "some very fine people on both sides."
Bro says that was the point at which she decided not to take his calls.
According to the Post, James Alex Fields, a self-declared neo-Nazi and the man accused of driving his car into the crowd on that day, is facing a second-degree murder charge, five counts of malicious wounding, and a bevy of other offenses.
