U.N. Security Council Calls For Truce As Bombardment Continues For 7th Day

According to a report by Reuters, rescue workers in Syria's eastern Ghouta claimed that the bombing would not let up long enough for bodies to be counted during one of the bloodiest air assaults of the long-running war, while the UN Security Council has called for a 30-day humanitarian truce. The UN vote came while warplanes continued to pound eastern Ghouta for the seventh consecutive day.
