Koreans think they're not healthy despite long life expectancy

Despite Korea having a higher life expectancy than other OECD countries, data show most Koreans don't think they're healthy.
Research by Korea's health ministry finds life expectancy among Koreans to be 82-point-4 years,... which is higher than the OECD average of 80-point-8.
But only about one-third of Korean respondents aged 15 or older said they are maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
That's in stark contrast to the OECD average, where nearly seven out of ten people thought they were healthy.
The same data show Koreans went to the doctor for checkups most frequently... at 17 times a year,... more than double than the OECD average.
