Good morning. Grab an umbrella on your way out. It's forecast to be another wet day with showers in store from this afternoon and lasting until tonight. Rain will start in the capital area before gradually spreading to the rest of the central region. Meanwhile, parts of the Gyeongsang-do Provinces and their surrounding regions could see sporadic showers with thunder and lightning at times.
So central areas won't see temperatures rising that much. It will be breezier that yesterday. Daegu saw readings soaring above 33 degrees on Thursday. That will go down a bit today but it will still be hot.
Checking on today's temperatures, this morning is a tad warmer ranging between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius. Daegu, Gwangju and Busan are waking up to lots of sunshine.
Daily highs in Daegu and Gyeongju will hike to 32 degrees. Seoul should see rain clouds forming as the day goes on with high humidity.
