11 MNLF men locked up in Zambo police HQ

MANILA - Eleven members of the Moro National Liberation Front are locked up in one cell at Zamboanga City Police headquarters. The MNLF men began arriving in Zamboanga Sunday from various parts of Mindanao and Palawan. Police were able to confiscate IDs and documents identifying them as MNLF members. Also confiscated were various uniforms. Among those arrested was Nurin Jorge Ismael who admitted to being a former MNLF commander in Basilan. "Pumunta lang kami dito kasi gusto namin malaman ang results ng peace process," he said. ANC, September 10, 2013
