Glasgow hotel guests trapped after heavy rain floods surrounding area

Hotel guests at the Leonardo Inn in Glasgow's West End were temporarily trapped after floodwater blocked the only exit.

Footage from August 27 shows the extent of the flooding, which stretches from the main road, through the car park and to the hotel entrance.

A police vehicle can also be seen towards the main road.

The filmer, Nick Betting, jokingly said online: "Nice view from our hotel.

"That’s the only way out..."
