Max Schöllhorn's Fatal Crash @ Artigues-de-Lussac 1984

West German rider Max Schöllhorn participated in the British Speedway League, competing in three meetings for Reading in 1981 and for Eastbourne in two meetings in 1983.

Max Schöllhorn lost his life at the age of 24, during a grass track speedway race in Les Artigues-de-Lussac in Gironde department, France. It happened on Sunday, 13 May 1984, Schöllhorn hit the motorcycle of a rider who fell in front of him, was thrown from his bike landing onto the other side of the track. He unfortunately did not survive.
