Suzanne Jayne "Jane" Litterick, 26-year-old Australian motorcycle racer, lost her life when the bike she was riding went out of control coming onto the main straight from the fast but tricky bend, then called "Ron Hodgson Corner", at Amaroo Park raceway near Annangrove, state of New South Wales, Australia.

It happened on Sunday, 25 March 1984 during the opening meeting for the track's season. Jane Litterick's bike swerved and crashed into a barrier on the left side without any run-off area. She bounced back on track and was run over by two oncoming riders who closely followed.

It was reported that at the time of her fatal accident, Jane Litterick participated in the Australian television program "Current Affairs" in wich the authors followed and filmed women in typically male sports. She was filmed early in the day at Amaroo Park and after the race a couple of riders were interviewed making comments until the announcement that she was dead.

Owing to this fatality which attracted unprecedented media coverage, the track’s licence was temporarily suspended. A "bus stop" leading onto the main straight, named "Mickey Mouse-chicane" was built at Amaroo Park, before the "Ron Hodgson Corner" and used for motorcycle races. The turn with the pit entry on the outside was later named Wunderlich Corner, for sponsorship reasons. It was previously sponsored by Ron Hodgson, Sydney's then largest Holden dealer. The Amaroo Park circuit operated until 1998, later the area became a housing estate.
