Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights from Konami for the Nintendo 3DS. Doctor Lautrec is like Professor Layton meets Pokémon. It tells the story of, believe it or not, Doctor Lautrec. He's an adventurer who hates adventurers, but more importantly, he is world renowned for his intellect and puzzle solving acumen. Dr. Lautrec also has an assistant with a British accent. And girls with British accents are cute. What's a lot less cute are games too heavy on cut scenes. And this is one of them. Doctor Lautrec has some well-done cinematics that look more like a cartoon than cut scenes from a video game, but the problem is they're just too long and just too many.
