CGRundertow FROGGER 3D for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Frogger 3D from Konami for the Nintendo 3DS. Playing Frogger 3D is like listening to a bad cover band. It plays the right notes, but those notes sound so bad, you wonder if they ever sounded good in the first place. You play Frogger 3D by jumping and dodging, which is at least the right place to start. You're charged with reaching three goals in each level, navigating all kinds of typical Frogger craziness in the process. Frogger 3D also throws in collectible coins, which are scattered across the level and give you bonus points if you can collect them en route to the goals. It has the right ideas, but the game around them is just awful. Level design is the worst culprit here. Frogger 3D has decent mechanics, but the levels are never fun or interesting to play. They're sort of arbitrary, and the layouts are often more frustrating than entertaining. This video review features video gameplay footage of Frogger 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
