CGRundertow MILLIPEDE for NES Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Millipede from Atari and HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Originally released to arcades in 1982, Millipede is Atari's sequel to the 1980 classic Centipede. Like its predecessor, Millipede is about disgusting insects that are trying to destroy your ship. It's not propaganda when it's true. It's not Centipede, but the resemblance is uncanny. In fact, functionally speaking, they're basically the same game. You're again controlling a floating ship at the bottom of the screen. Like its arcade ancestors, you're shooting upward at enemies coming toward you. Only this time, your primary target is a millipede instead of a centipede. The game also makes some cosmetic changes and throws in a few new bugs, but for the most part, it's fumigation as usual. This video review features video gameplay footage of Millipede for the Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
