CGRundertow STAR FOX COMMAND for Nintendo DS Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Star Fox Command from Q-Games and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. Like the first two Star Fox games, Star Fox Command is a flight combat game. It's comprised entirely of flight missions, so Fox never leaves the cockpit. But as much as Command is a flight game, it's actually more of a strategy game. The missions aren't on rails shooting galleries anymore. Rather than a fixed camera behind the Arwing, you get a satellite view of the ground below. It's more a chess match, in a way. You have a limited amount of moves, and you have to destroy all enemy bases before incoming foes can reach your base, the Great Fox. It's kind of a smart idea, and you have to think about your moves before committing to them. It's a different kind of sensation than you get from prior Star Fox games, which are reliant on reflexes more than strategy. This video review features video gameplay footage of Star Fox Command for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
