CGRundertow - NERF N-STRIKE ELITE for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Nerf N-Strike Elite from Electronic Arts (EA) for the Nintendo Wii. Released exclusively for the Wii in 2009, Nerf N-Strike Elite is a sequel to 2008's original Nerf N-Strike. But where the original N-Strike was a collection of shooting mini-games, N-Strike Elite is an on-rails shooter, and a surprisingly decent one, at that. You play as a group of kids armed with a plethora of Nerf weaponry and engaged in battle against an army of robots. It's like the Terminator meets some generic action cartoon, and that's the thing that keeps this game from the must-have category. Rather than play up the "Nerfness", so to speak, N-Strike Elite is a standard on-rails shooter with only cosmetic "Nerfness". This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Nerf N-Strike Elite on the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
