CGRundertow MAN VS. WILD for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Man vs. Wild from Crave Games for the Nintendo Wii. In addition to being a crime against humanity, Man vs. Wild is essentially an action game without a whole lot of action. You control Bear Grylls as he moves through the wilderness, which is strangely linear and low res, and struggles to survive. You're building shelters from sticks, you're fighting snakes with sticks, you're stabbing fish with sticks and subsequently, you're breaking your Wii with sticks. The basic idea is that you have to keep Bear alive, so you have to keep him hydrated, well fed and well rested, and you do that by drinking water, eating animals and sleeping. The idea isn't bad, but the execution is just terrible. This video review features video gameplay footage of Man vs. Wild for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
