Monster World IV review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Monster World IV, part of Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World for XBox Live Arcade. It looks like Shantae. It plays like Shantae. It sounds... well, more twangy than even Shantae could get, thanks to the Genesis sound hardware. But Monster World IV isn't Shantae... it was Shantae BEFORE Shantae was Shantae. Have I said Shantae enough? I'm hoping that, by repeating the name of a fantastic action platformer with which you should be familiar, you'll equate it with this, a fantastic action platformer in much the same vein that we, here in the states, haven't had the opportunity to enjoy until just now.
