Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 for the Sony PlayStation from Infogrames. Released in North America nearly eight years after its original Japanese release, this old school 2d fighter based on the hit anime series might be disappointing, even for DBZ fans. Even with a multitude of characters to choose from, clunky controls and rugged combat mechanics easily put this game in the shadow of the Budokai series that was introduced to the PS2 one year earlier.
