PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the PlayStation spin-off of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros., excited many PlayStation fans when it debuted on GameTrailers TV on April 27th. Originally announced exclusively for the PlayStation 3, the title PlayStation fans had prayed would come to life finally became official and at this year's E3, PlayStation sweetened the deal further. Not only will PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale launch on the PlayStation 3 this holiday season, but the PlayStation Vita will also host the epic battle of PlayStation characters and support cross play functionality with the PlayStation 3.

Originally a sceptic of how well PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale would turn out and how effective the cross play functionality would run, I was turned into a believer after experiencing the game first hand at E3 2012. Delivering the full PS3 experience on the PlayStation Vita while utilizing the Vita's various features, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to be a huge success this holiday season and deliver the experience PlayStation fans have long waited for.

After completing a match as my favorite PlayStation character of all time, Kratos, I spoke with Andrew Rubino, Senior AI Designer for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, to speak on the cross play functionality presented in the upcoming AAA release.
