CGRundertow SHATTERHAND for NES Video Game Review

Shatterhand review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Shatterhand from Natsume and Jaleco for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Shatterhand isn't the most original release on the NES, but it is a fantastic brawler that rivals its more popular peers. The gimmick of Shatterhand is reflected by its title. You play as a guy with prosthetic hands that are little weapons of mass destruction. Dude can punch through almost anything...walls, bullets, people. And these fatal fists are the entire point of Shatterhand. Most of the combat is hand-to-hand. That means patience is a virtue, because you really have to time your punches and wait for the right opening. Fortunately, if you collect three power-ups, you get a little robot buddy who drops the tough guy act and finally unleashes some real weaponry. This video review features video gameplay footage of Shatterhand for the Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
