The Amazing Spider-Man is a new action game based on the upcoming film. Out with Tobey Maguire, in with Andrew Garfield. The game takes place after the events of the movie and trades the open-world approach of previous Spider-Man games for a more linear design. It's basically a 3D beat 'em up, only with some crazy acrobatics and lots of very empty levels. Fortunately, Spider-Man's move set is a bit fuller. You can do hand-to-hand combat, which is fantastic because Spider-Man fights like a luchador, or you can engage enemies from a distance.
