CGRundertow SINISTAR for Arcade/Nintendo GameCube Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game review of Sinistar originally released for arcades by Williams. Beware I live! At the helm of a small spaceship, you're in for the fight of your life against the infamous skull faced Sinistar, who's hungry for you! One of the celebrated "twitch" shooter classics from Williams in the same spirit as Robotron 2084 or Defender, Sinistar broke new ground in arcade game history with its 49 way directional controls and stereo sound, and also delivers frantic and addictive gameplay. Sinistar himself has also attained cult status thanks to his digitized speech, and has had many tributes paid to him in other video games, music, animation, and other media. This review features Sinistar gameplay footage from Midway Arcade Treasures on the Nintendo Gamecube (also available on PS2, Xbox, and PSP) and commentary from CGR Undertow reviewer Kevin.
