CGRundertow SONIC CHAOS for Sega Master System Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Sonic Chaos review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sonic Chaos for the Sega Master System. Sonic is blue. Fast. And spiny. The blue blur with the 'tude is back in this 8bit 1993 release on the Sega Master System. While the only USA release of this game back in the day was on the Game Gear, Sonic Chaos was released in Europe and other countries on the older Master System after the Genesis/MegaDrive rocked the world. Robotnik has stolen the Red Chaos Emerald, and Sonic the Miles Tails Prower have to get it back and find the other 5 Emeralds. Sonic Chaos is a little easy, but it's still a very impressive example of what 8bit hardware can do. It's not a replacement for say, Sonic 3 on the Genesis, but think of this game as a supplement to the Sonic games you already love. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sonic Chaos on the Sega Master System, as played on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Jonathan.
