Mega Man X3 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mega Man X3 for Super NES, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation, emulated as part of Mega Man X Collection on GameCube. Third verse, same as the... well, kinda different, actually. After two frustrating volumes, ZERO IS FINALLY PLAYABLE! Kinda. You only get to use him once per stage, and not in boss fights. But he's got a lightsaber! Or the equivalent. Unfortunately, he doesn't get any of the awesome upgrades X boasts, like a map display at the beginning of the stage, numerous agility and ability improvements, and a selection of ride armors.
