Deep Dungeon review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Deep Dungeon for Famicom Disk System. So what DO we call first-person, dungeon crawling RPGs, besides "usually very oldschool" and "brutal as all hell?" Before Etrian Odyssey introduced a "Draw Yer Own" map function, folks plodded through Deep Dungeon with only graph paper, luck, and a head bobbing to that music. It's eight floors of RPG slog, in order to... make Disgaea happen? Or something. I think that part was cut out. But it's on the Famicom Disk System, so that makes it interesting! And load times.
