CGR Undertow - AEON COMMAND review for PC

Aeon Command review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Aeon Command for PC developed by Bat Country Games and published by Bat Country. Aeon Command's gameplay is a battle across a linear plan of space, your mothership is on one side of that linear space and the enemy's is on the other -- you must get to the opposing end of space and destroy their mothership. To achieve this, gameplay is comprised of slight real-time strategy elements and proper usage of gathered resources. Really, your only job is to manage these resources for two reasons: to build ships and to research upgrades for these vessels. That's it; you never control the crafts in any way. Instead, as ships are spawned, they immediately begin their flight toward the enemy mothership, fighting any foe that enters their line of sight. Sure there are some nice visuals to look at while things play out, but you just kind of take a backseat and watch while events unfold. Part of what makes games so great is how interactive they are, and Aeon Command seems to forget that. This video review features video gameplay footage of Aeon Command for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Steve.
