Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain reminds us of a time when vampires were cool. Kain is a cool vampire, as he sets out on his quest for revenge. The game is a dudgeon RPG, with Kain exploring different dark areas that are filled with creatures that want to end his second life. But Kain can hold his own with sword skills, magic, and his ability to drink blood for life. As Kain quests, he will find new and better equipment and learn new spells. Kain is what a vampire should be: cool, dark, and dangerous. And Blood Omen is a great action RPG that reminds us of that.
