Heretic review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Heretic for PC developed by Raven Software and published by id Software. Heretic was developed by Raven Software and published by id Software in 1994. This game has more or less the same gameplay as Doom, but introduced a few enhancements of its own. Now you have an inventory, with numerous useful inventory items. The levels are now longer and more complex, and there is more to do in them. In order to get this game to run on a modern computer, one must either have Dos box or a source port. I recommend the source port GZDoom as it allows one to have better lighting and a higher screen resolution.
