Many people have strong opinions of Mortal Kombat 3. Some saw it as a logical progression of the series while others viewed it as having changed the formula too much. The game takes the series in a new direction. Mortal Kombat 3 still has a focus on blood and gore, but also adds a deeper fighting system. There is now a combo meter and new fatalities.
