The Lion King 1 1/2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Lion King 1 1/2 for the Game Boy Advance developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. The Lion King 1 1/2 is a 2D platformer from the GBA wizards at Vicarious Visions. The game is based on Disney's direct-to-video film of the same name. You play as Timon and Pumbaa while experiencing the events of The Lion King from their perspective. The Lion King 1 1/2 isn't a terribly complex platformer, but its simplicity works well. It's an ideal game for kids, and its quality makes it supremely playable for adults, as well. The Lion King 1 1/2 is a colorful game with beautiful animations and sprite work, a testament to the effort Vicarious Visions put into its handheld Nintendo games. Hakuna matata! This video review features video gameplay footage of The Lion King 1 1/2 for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
