Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Mighty Flip Champs for Nintendo DS developed and published by WayForward.
Mighty Flip Champs started the ball rolling on the Mighty series of games, WayForward's way of pursuing interesting ideas in smaller, direct-download form. (It was also their way of testing the market and seeing if there was enough interest to justify a proper sequel to Shantae, but that's another story.) There's no jumping, no real platforming, just a bit of moving and climbing... and the incredible power to replace the entire stage with a similar-yet-slightly-different stage displayed on the bottom screen.
