Shrek: Hassle At The Castle review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Shrek: Hassle At The Castle for the Game Boy Advance developed by TOSE Software and published by TDK Mediactive.

From the makers of The Legendary Starfy, Shrek: Hassle At The Castle gives you an angry ogre and a bunch of villagers to beat up. You do the math, donkey! This is the simplest of 2D beat ‘em ups in terms of its design, yet it also gets surprisingly difficult as the game progresses. You get to play as Shrek, Donkey and Fiona, with each level giving you different characters. Although the gameplay is mostly comprised of simple beat ‘em up action, there are also platforming sections and even some races against the clock. The game features a distinctive “big head” style, as the characters are proportioned more like bobbleheads than their actual onscreen counterparts. Shrek: Hassle At The Castle is a loose retelling of the events of the original film and is a single-player game.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Shrek: Hassle At The Castle for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
