When your girlfriend is kidnapped and you’ve been turned into a monkey, there’s one proper course of action—spit on everything in sight. Originally released to arcades, Toki was later ported to home consoles. The Genesis version featured improved graphics and new levels, as well as the “Going Ape Spit” subtitle. Toki: Going Ape Spit is a simple platformer in design, but it’s also slightly similar to Contra. You control Toki and spit your way to victory, collecting power-ups that affect your saliva. And that’s pretty awesome. Toki: Going Ape Spit is a single-player game on the SEGA Genesis.
