Texas floods: dramatic helicopter rescue of Denton County residents trapped by storms - TomoNews

The Texas National Guard made several dramatic helicopter rescues of people stranded by flooding and severe weather on Sunday in Denton County, where a significant amount of rainfall caused flash floods in some areas.

An Associated Press video shows two men who were stranded on top of a pickup near Sanger. They were airlifted to safety after rescuers tried to reach them by ground. Before being rescued, one of the men had the time to tweet about his situation.
