Based on a somewhat influential sci-fi movie, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back puts the lightsaber in your hands! Sadly, it seems to need new batteries. Nonetheless, this action game follows events from the film, from the ice planet Hoth all the way to your encounter with Darth Vader. Use the force, Luke! It’s not a long game and it certainly has its issues, but Star Wars fans may be able to see past them and enjoy the game for what it is—a flawed-but-decent Star Wars action game. After all, you do get to ride a tauntaun. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is a single-player game on the Game Boy.
