Members of India’s LGBT community and their supporters were celebrating on September 6 after the country’s Supreme Court ruled that “any consensual sexual relationship between two consenting adults … cannot be said to he unconstitutional.”The verdict comes after the court was petitioned to rule on a law known as Section 377, which had prohibited “carnal intercourse against the order of nature". The Supreme Court said Section 377 amounted to “discrimination and is violative of constitutional principles,” the Times of India said.This footage show celebrations in the southern city of Bengaluru.
