PS4 and Xbox 720 Too Soon? Think Again EA – Nick’s Gaming View Episode #51
  • 13 years ago
Hello everyone and welcome back for another episode of Nick’s Gaming View where I cover the latest gaming news and events throughout the industry. This week I cover Activision’s 2011 Call of Duty XP event where Infinity Ward announced a plethora of new features and content related to the upcoming Modern Warfare 3. I also provide the details and my insight on Call of Duty Elite and why Activision may have a well justified service on their hands.
Along with the monumental Modern Warfare 3 event, Epic Games and Microsoft announced an all-new “Season Pass” for their upcoming blockbuster hit, Gears of War 3. I speak on what the “Season Pass” entails and what benefits it will offer to those who are content-hungry and plan on investing time into Gears of War 3.
With titles such as Gears of War 3 and Modern Warfare 3 yet to launch, talks in regards to the next generation of consoles are running rapid. Frank Gibeau, President of Electronic Arts Labels, speaks on the idea of a PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 and I provide my opposing view to this matter.
To wrap it all up, Microsoft is extending the capabilities of the Xbox 360 by implementing full 3D support via firmware update for “stereoscopic 3D games and experiences”. I speak on what this may mean for the future of the console, beyond the obvious gaming advantages. You do not want to miss it so be sure to hit play and enjoy the show. This is Nick’s Gaming View!
