Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of World Heroes, a head-to-head fighting game developed by Alpha Denshi and published in 2011 by SNK for the PlayStation Portable. There were lots of vaguely-similar fighting games in the wake of Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, and the SNK pantheon. World Heroes was one of those also-rans. While the idea of historical figures fighting each other thanks to Doc Brown and his Time Machine (I kid you not) might seem cool on paper, the game itself is hamstrung by clunky controls and laughable sound and voice work.
