CGRundertow POKEMON PUZZLE LEAGUE for Nintendo 64 Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Pokémon Puzzle League, a 2- or 3D puzzle game developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo Software Technology and published in 2000 by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. Wait. I thought this was a Tetris game! Now it's a Pokémon title? What gives? Well, in reality, it's neither. It's just that the panel-swapping gameplay of the Puzzle League series (or Panel de Pon, if you want to get old-school) is well-suited for cross-branding, whether it be with Yoshi or Pikachu or even Team Rocket. It's the same puzzle action you came to love in Tetris Attack, but now with shouts of "BULBASAUR!" and animation sequences more sophisticated than the N64's usual lineup. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Pokémon Puzzle League for the Nintendo 64 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
