Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Castlevania for the NES, from Konami. The prolific series of vampire hunting platformers got its start in 1986 with the original Castlevania, a sidescrolling classic that would go on to spawn numerous sequels and spinoffs. The whip cracking Simon Belmont must venture into Dracula's castle, defeating numerous monsters and demons in his path to the Count himself. Precise platforming gameplay and impressive graphics and soundtrack make this an addictive challenge that still plays great today.
