Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Gon for the Super Famicom. The first game based on the critically acclaimed manga series of the same name, Gon features a pint sized dinosaur that somehow avoided extinction and gets into all sorts of adventures with modern day critters. It has some of the same stylistic flourishes of the comics, with minimal use of text and rich visual storytelling, and the design results in a very distinct and creative 2d sidescroller that was never released outside of Japan. Gon finally made it overseas as a secret character in Tekken 3, but this was his first foray into video games back in 1994.
