Ridge Racer review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ridge Racer for Playstation 1. RIdge Racer is a fine example of arcade racing. You drive on the track, extending your time by reaching checkpoints. The cars have a light feeling which adds to the sense of speed the game tries to show. The only problem with the game is that it is very limited in game options. There are only four tracks and four cars, which can cause the game to become receptive, especially without any multiplayer. But the arcade racing satisfies, as you battle for a new fastest time and high score.
