The Emperor's New Groove review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Emperor's New Groove from Argonaut Games and Sony Computer Entertainment for Playstation 1. Based off the Disney movie of the same name, the game takes Emperor Kuzco on a journey to leave his llama body and back into his normal one. It is a 3D platformer, with open areas and multiple objectives for you to complete, each making Kuzco use one of his special llama abilities. The game can feel restricted as the areas are not that open and the tasks quickly become repetitive and uninteresting. It is a decent attempt at bringing the magic of the movie to the PS1, but leaves a lot to be desired.
