Star Wars: Dark Forces review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Star Wars: Dark Forces for Playstation 1 developed by LucasArts and published by LucasArts. It's not often that a Star Wars game finds itself in the first person shooting genre, which is surprising because the ones that do are some of the best. Dark Forces features an original story, starring a mercenary who is hired by the Rebel Alliance. The gameplay is that of old-school first person shooting, following much in the same style as Doom. Any fan of shooters, Doom, or Star Wars will find high levels of entertainment with this title.
