You've got a stable of giant robot franchises - which, as we've seen, lend themselves rather well to massive crossover RPGs - as well as an adorable mascot robot-object, and... well, the call of Pokemonization is hard to resist. You can quite easily get away with making an RPG full of robot-collecting, item-sleuthing, evolution-inducing, and level-grinding, so it makes sense to do so. While the concept is certainly sound (if a little played out), Harobots' stumbling block seems to be its early-game balance, though the rest of it turns out fairly well.
