RUSH review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of RUSH on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Two Tribes.

Two Tribes brings more cube-oriented puzzles to the eShop with RUSH, a spiritual sequel to their previous puzzler, EDGE. Unlike that game, however, RUSH doesn’t give you direct control over the cubes. This time, you’re more of a traffic cop, guiding the multicolored cubes by placing objects in their environment. Using everything from arrows that change their direction to conveyor belts and even stop signs, you must find a way to get the cubes from their spawning points to their matching endpoints. Of course, it wouldn’t be a puzzle game if the levels weren’t, you know, puzzling. Each level offers a new design that makes traversing the terrain a challenge. RUSH has an almost mechanical nature—its puzzles feature lots of complexities and moving parts, but when they work, it suddenly looks so simple. RUSH is a single-player eShop puzzle game.

This video review features video gameplay footage of RUSH on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
