Dokapon Kingdom does to Mario Party what Pangya did to golf: Turns it into an RPG that has no business working as well as it does. RPGs are supposed to be long, plot-soaked affairs! How dare the action be cut-up into bite-sized chunks, appropriate for a single player's turn, while still offering equipment and item systems, the liberation of cities, the development of cities, taxation, random NPCs offering to smith crap for you in the field or swipe an opponent's stuff... Seriously, how dare they! They've made an accessible RPG that threatens the elitism of my favorite genre! (And I can't stop playing it.)
